As players look for the right fit for the 2024-2025 soccer year, we strongly encourage all interested athletes to register and attend as many ID sessions as possible.

TRYOUTS

Tryouts will occur June 7-9, 2024. All players interested in a Select/Premier team should attend, whether a current ULFC member or new to the club. The schedule of times by birth year will be announced by May 1, 2024. Official offers will be sent at this time to finalize rosters for 2024-25 teams. Interested athletes should try to attend all tryout times offered for their age group over the course of the weekend.

If you have any questions leading up to the ID sessions and/or tryouts, please don't hesitate to reach out. Contact info@unifiedfc.org to get connected with the club and begin conversations with the coach(es) in your age group.

Unified Legacy is proud to announce their recent partnership with Trace . Trace is a portable full-field camera system that pairs with GPS sensors to track each player. This captures video of the game, breaks it into short clips with key moments and tracks useful performance metrics for everyone on the team, along with heat maps and a tactical radar to view team positioning. Players can see their improvement from game to game with Top Speed, Distance Ran, Minutes Played, Stamina, and Max Efforts. This is an excellent tool for coaches to reinforce shape, discuss strategy and motivate their team to play at their best. It also generates high-quality game video that can be shared with parents and other family members.

After merging in June of 2021, Unified FC and Legacy SC have found great success. With 44 active teams 502 athletes and 28 coaches, it is one of the largest clubs in the Northland and provides ample opportunities for area youth athletes. The Unified and Legacy clubs have fully integrated teams, operations and philosophies. At a Board of Directors meeting on February 16th, the club's name was officially changed to Unified Legacy FC. This further reinforces the importance each club brought to the table and the idea that the new club represents the best of Unified and Legacy. Unified Legacy FC is a club that is here for the love of the sport, the development of kids as players, teammates & citizens and to serve the Northland community.

Unified Legacy coaches and administrators attended the United Soccer Coaches Convention January 19-23. Coaches attended field demonstrations, lectures and networking events to learn about new ideas and methodologies from elite educators, coaches, and administrators in the soccer world. They also explored the latest equipment and technology to support soccer coaches and administrators in their daily duties. ULFC coaches were especially pleased to meet and talk strategy with Frans Hoek, Assistant and Goalkeeping Coach Dutch National Team. The ULFC coaches and staff are excited to apply these learnings on the field, this spring and beyond.
